GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Sweet Briar College soccer team has landed two student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team, the organization announced Nov. 25th.
Junior
Mia Viccora (Fairfax, Va.) and sophomore
Kaelin Hanson (Los Alamos, N.M.) both received honors.
Viccora, an elementary education and teaching major, started all but one game in goal for the Vixens this past season and racked up a total of 124 saves. She contributed to two shutouts in 2025 while also earning a career-high 19 saves against Guilford on Oct. 15th.
Hanson, a biology major, started all 15 games this season and earned her first career point with an assist against Trinity Washington on Sept. 17th. As an integral part of Sweet Briar's defense, Hanson played all 90 minutes in 12 games this season.
This marks the second career CSC honor for Viccora and the first for Hanson.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and must have played in at least 90% of the institution's games or started in 60% of them.
