NELLYSFORD, Va. – The Sweet Briar College golf team shot a 358 (+70) in round three of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships today to bring their three-day total to 1094 (+230), the lowest score in program history.
Senior
Amani Narang (Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India) once again climbed up the leaderboard; moving up four places to sixth with her round three score of 72 (E). Narang finished with a total of 232 (+12).
Sophomore
Isabella Peregrine (Liberty, Mo.) rose three places to 22nd after she shot an 85 (+13) to total 261 (+45).
Fellow sophomore
Kendel Wickline (Frederick, Md.) remained steady, matching her score of 101 (+29) from round two to conclude her tournament with a score of 299 (+83).
Both senior
Haley Holzworth (Scottsbluff, Neb.) and
Kailei Minter (Martinsville, Va.) left the course with totals of 304 (+88). Holzworth shot a 100 (+28) today to bring her to that total while Minter recorded a day three score of 102 (+30).
Highlights
- Narang had the best round-three score out of all 39 players in the field by three strokes.
- Narang became the first Vixen in program history to be named the ODAC/Va. Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete, earned a spot on the All-ODAC Second Team and was named an 18-Hole Pin Flag Honoree for the fourth straight year.
- Holzworth was crowned the ODAC Sportswoman of the Year while also being named to the All-ODAC Sportsmanship Team.
What's Next
The Vixens will now begin to prepare for the 2025-26 season.
