ASHLAND, Va. – Senior golfer
Amani Narang (Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India) has earned the second Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) honors of her career after being named to the Women's Golf College All-State Second Team, the organization announced yesterday, June 25th.
Narang placed eighth at this year's Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship after shooting a tournament-low 72 (E) in the final round of competition. Along with being named the ODAC/Va. Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the India native was named to the All-ODAC Second Team for the third time in her career and earned her fourth-straight 18-Hole Pin Flag honor.
Off the course, Narang earned a perfect 4.0 GPA as a business major this past academic year and also earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Team.
