SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar College tennis team (14-6, 8-2 ODAC) wrapped up the regular season today in battle with the Averett University Cougars (13-4, 8-1 ODAC) at the Van Der Meer Tennis Center.
Despite a 7-0 win for the visitors, the Vixens battled hard against their conference rivals.
In doubles action, both the No. 1 and No. 2 matches went to tiebreaks. The duos of Guilarte/Lima and Bovard/Caracciolo both went to scores of 6-7 (7-9) in the No. 1 and No. 2 matches, respectively.
Sophomore
Isadora Lima (Natal, Brazil) also saw extra games in her No. 3 singles match against Dilara Sultanova. After dropping the first set 2-6, Lima rallied back in the second before ultimately falling 5-7.

- Lima has only lost one of her No. 3 singles matches this season in six-game straight sets.
- Sweet Briar has clinched its fifth-straight ODAC Championship appearance.

The Vixens will host the quarterfinal round of the ODAC Women's Tennis Championship on April 29th.
