FERRUM, Va. – The Sweet Briar College lacrosse team (0-8, 0-5 ODAC) dropped today's game at the Ferrum College Panthers (4-7, 2-5 ODAC) by a score of 14-0.
The Panthers got the scoring started less than a minute into action and tacked on five more goals for the 6-0 lead after the conclusion of the first quarter.
Five additional tallies for the home team brought the score to 11-0 at halftime.
In the third and final quarter of play, Ferrum found the back of the net three times to take the 14-0 victory.
In goal, both first-year
Geneva Seitz (Havre de Grace, Md.) and sophomore
Lizzie Mehl (Richmond Hill, Ga.) saw action with Seitz totaling 10 saves.
Highlights
- First-year Larkin Shire (Carolina County, Va.) earned a career-high four draw control wins.
- Senior Valen Foster (Bushwood, Md.) led the team in shots.

The Vixens will head to Shenandoah on April 9th before hosting Randolph-Macon for senior day on April 12th.
