ASHLAND, Va. – Senior
Jillian Lewis (Ellicott City, Md.) of the Sweet Briar College swim team has been named to the 2024-25 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Women's Swimming College All-State First Team in the breaststroke.
Lewis earned a personal-best time of 2:36.98 in the 200-yard breaststroke at the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships where she placed 16th.
Her time in the even marks the second fastest recorded time in program history and the Maryland native also sits in the top-five in program times in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Lewis also recorded the fastest time by a Vixen swimmer in the 50-yard breaststroke at this year's Championships with a time of 33.66 in her exhibition swim.
This marks the first career VaSID award for Lewis as she becomes the first swimmer from Sweet Briar to earn a spot on the College All-State Team.
