FOREST, Va. – Sweet Briar College soccer first-year
Sadie Swart (Bowie, Md.) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today, Sept. 22nd.
Swart was instrumental in both of the Vixens' 10-0 victories against Trinity Washington this past week. The Maryland native scored three goals in game one on Wednesday to become the first Sweet Briar player to score three or more goals in a single game since 2023 and followed that performance up with one goal and four assists in game two on Friday.
Wednesday night's action also saw the midfielder tally the first goal of her collegiate career.
With today's weekly honor, Swart becomes the first Vixen soccer player since the 2010 season to earn recognition from the ODAC.
Sweet Briar enters conference play this week with games at Shenandoah on Wednesday and at home against Hollins on Saturday.
