SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The No. 3 single discipline/No. 2 seeded Sweet Briar College NCEA team (6-4, 5-2 ODAC) fell to the No. 5 single discipline/No. 3 seeded Bridgewater College Eagles in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) semifinals this afternoon on team scores.
The two programs were tied at 5-5 after both fences and flat competitions; the Eagles won the meet on raw scores, 746-731.5.
First-year
Hallie Nelson (Duette, Fla.) earned the lone point for the Vixens over fences with a 78.5 on Zehn. Nelson took the point from her Bridgewater opponent with a seven-point win margin.
On the flat, Sweet Briar nabbed five points to tie the score up at five all. Nelson earned her second point of the meet while senior
Maggie Booth (Marietta, Ga.) and sophomores
Gracie Robertson (Mocksville, N.C.) and
Abigail Schreiner (Villa Rica, Ga.) also took home points.
Nelson totaled a 79 on Itina for an eight-point victory, while Booth totaled a 10-point win margin thanks to her score of 71 on Caleb.
Robertson scored the highest of any Vixen rider in flat competition with an 83 on Ollie for a 4.5 win margin over her Eagles competitor. Schreiner scored a 77.5 on Eragon for an eight-point margin of victory.

- Both Booth and Robertson remain undefeated against Bridgewater when competing on the flat.
