AMHERST, Va. – The Sweet Briar College golf team took down the Meredith College Avenging Angels in match play today at Winton Farm Golf Course, 349-363.
The Vixens were led by junior
Kailei Minter (Martinsville, Va.), who led the field with a career-low round of 78.
Finishing right behind her in second was fellow sophomore
Isabella Peregrine (Liberty, Mo.), who also posted a career-low round of 80.
Sweet Briar kept the career performances going as junior
Kendel Wickline (Frederick, Md.) totaled a 92 to finish sixth in the field.
Sophomore
Reiyn Hart (Bridgton, Maine) put forth her top score of 99, while the field was rounded out by sophomore
Tori Rosen (Collegeville, Pa.), who posted her best score of 111.
Highlights
- The team's score of 349 marks the best single round put together by Sweet Briar so far this season.
- All five Vixen golfers posted career-low rounds.
