FOREST, Va. – First-year
Sophia Peterson (Ashland, Va.) has earned a spot on the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Softball Third Team as a designated player, the conference announced today, May 7th.
Peterson totaled a .348 batting average this season with 15 runs, 39 hits, 13 doubles, one homerun and 24 RBIs in 112 total at-bats. Additionally, the Virginia native secured a .907 OPS and .491 slugging percentage.
Peterson led the team in doubles and ranked fourth in the conference with her total.
This marks the first All-Conference award for Peterson in her collegiate career.
