ASHLAND, Va. --- Vixen Tennis made the final regular season road trip to Randolph-Macon College on Wednesday afternoon.

Against the Yellow Jackets, Sweet Briar faced a 3-0 deficit after doubles competition.  On the singles side, R-MC claimed victory on court Nos. 1-4 to put the match out of reach for SBC.

In the 8-1 loss, Vixen singles player Rachel Byrd (Hartfield, Va./Mathews) notched the lone SBC point on court No. 5.

SBC returns to campus for the final home match on Friday, April 12.  Vixen Tennis welcomes Lynchburg College for the 3:30 p.m. Old Dominion Athletic Conference match.

Prior to the doubles competitions, Vixen Athletics will honor four senior tennis players.  Nicole Lee (Seattle, Wash./Seattle Christian), Sarah Manter (Brunswick, Maine/Brunswick), Lauren Morgan (Lexington, S.C./Lexington) and Yuliya Rigg (Sweet Briar, Va./Amherst) will suit up in the pink and green one final time.
