Box Score SWEET BRIAR, Va. --- Vixen tennis added another win to their season total on Tuesday afternoon. SBC beat Lynchburg College 7-2 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference contest.
LC scored the first match point on court No. 3 doubles, but SBC's pairing of Allie Raifsnider (Concord, N.C. / Jay M. Robinson) and Ashley Fletcher (Durham, N.C. / North Raleigh Christian Academy) evened the mark wtih a 8-6 court No. 2 win. Caitlin Delmas (Asheville, N.C. / K-12 International Academy) and Glory Bowman (Roanoke, Va. / Patrick Henry) also took an 8-6 and gave the Vixens a lead they would not relinquish.
On the singles side Sweet Briar pickjed up six more wins and with those results solidified the 7-2 win over the Hornets. With the win, Vixen Tennis improves to 4-7 overall and 2-3 in the ODAC.
SBC next faces Bridgewater College on Friday, April. The Vixens will travel to Harrisonburg, Va. for the 4 p.m. ODAC match.
