Box Score SWEET BRIAR, Va. --- Sweet Briar played the first of two matches in as many days on Monday afternoon as the string of six matches in 10 days continues for the Vixens. It was senior day and SBC's lone senior, Glory Bowman (Roanoke, Va. / Patrick Henry), was honored before the match. The Vixens celebrated Bowman in style by earning the 9-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference victory.
In doubles, the Vixens earned all three points. The pairing of
Caitlin Delmas (Asheville, N.C. / K-12 International Academy) and Bowman played a tightly contested match and won 8-6. In singles competition, SBC earned six points. Bowman improved her record to 6-6 on the season with a straight sets victory, winning 6-3, 6-0.
Sweet Briar hosts Randolph-Macon on Tuesday, April 8. The ODAC match is set for a 4 p.m. start.
