HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Sweet Briar tennis team fell to Bridgewater (Va.) in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match, 9-0, at the Van Der Meer Tennis Club in Hilton Head, South Carolina. 

The Vixens fall to 3-6 overall, and 0-2 in the ODAC. 

SBC had a tough time against the Eagles as they were unable to claim a victory. 

Anna Colvin forced a match tiebreaker in No.4 singles only to fall to opponent Ashley Price -- 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (8).

Caitlin Delmas also took her opponent Maria Hawkins to a match tiebreak in the No. 1 singles. Delmas took the first set 6-4, while Hawkins took the second 6-3 and the tiebreaker score 10-5.

The Eagles swept in doubles action, though the team of Colvin and Delmas kept it close in No. 2 doubles, losing to Shannon Quinn and Price 9-7. 

Sweet Briar returns home when they host Lynchburg on Wednesday, March 25 at 4:30 p.m. the Gymnasium Tennis Courts in Sweet Briar, Virginia.
