ASHLAND, Va. – The Sweet Briar tennis team fell, 8-1, to Randolph-Macon in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match Saturday afternoon at Banks Tennis Courts in Ashland, Virginia.

The Vixens fall to 4-11 overall on the season and 1-7 in the ODAC, while RMC improves to 9-1 overall and 5-0 in the ODAC. 

Sweet Briar was swept in all three doubles, as Angelina Sportelli and Kelsie Grace defeated Gina Rutledge and AJ Lukanuski at no. 1 doubles 8-3. 

Caitlin Delmas had the lone victory for the Vixens as she defeated Sportelli, 6-3, 5-7 and 1-0 in a match tiebreaker. 

The Vixens close out the season with a three game home stance, with the first of three games tomorrow. When the Vixens host Virginia Wesleyan at 1:00 p.m. in an ODAC match at Babcock Tennis Courts in Sweet Briar, Virginia.
