SWEET BRIAR, Va. -- The Sweet Briar tennis team swept Emory and Henry, 9-0, in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference tennis match Wednesday afternoon at Babcock Tennis courts in Sweet Briar, Virginia.

The Vixens improve to 6-11 overall in the 2015 season, and 3-7 in the ODAC, while the Wasps fall to 2-6 overall and 1-6 in the conference.

Sweet Briar started the match off on the right foot as they swept in the all three doubles. Caitlin Delmas and Georgia Kirkland defeated their opponents Sheyenne Cleveland and Kala Curtis 8-0 in the number two doubles.

Anna Colvin at number four singles secured the victory for the Vixens as she blanked Alyssa Lambert 6-0, 6-0. While, Margaret Raymond defeated Curtis 6-0, 6-1 in five singles.

Sweet Briar closes out the year when they host Guilford on Friday at 3:30 at Babcock Tennis Courts in Sweet Briar, Virginia.
