LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Sweet Briar tennis team fell to Randolph, 8-1, in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match Monday afternoon in Lynchburg, Virginia.

The Vixens fall to 4-9 overall and 1-5 in the ODAC, while Randolph improves to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in the conference.

The WildCats swept in all three doubles, while Georgia Kirkland and Samantha Yew came close in number three doubles to Tirandre Forde and Danielle Lewis, though fell 8-4.

The lone victory for the Vixens came at number one singles, as Caitlin Delmas defeated Dina Belazco 6-2, 6-2. Anna Colvin took Heather Parra to a tiebreaker match but fell, 0-6, 7-6 in number four singles.

The Vixens return to the court Wednesday when they host Shenandoah April 8 at 4:00 p.m. in an ODAC match at Babcock Tennis Courts.
