LEXINGTON, Va.- The Sweet Briar College tennis team was back in action on Tuesday afternoon with their Old Dominion Athletic Conference opener at Washington & Lee University. The Generals won the shortened match, 5-0.

W&L ranks sixth in the Oracle/ITA Division III Atlantic South Region and 16th in the current national poll of Division III women's teams.

Senior Des'rae Davis won the Vixens only game of the match, falling to Gabby Moore, 6-1, 6-0.

SBC will get a chance to turn things around when Averett University comes to town on Friday. The match will take match at the Amherst Middle School and begin at 2:30 p.m.
