GREENSBORO, N.C.- The Sweet Briar College softball team wrapped up its 2017 campaign with an ODAC doubleheader at Guilford College on Saturday afternoon. The Quakers swept the series, 19-2 and 29-0.

Game One

The Vixens got on the board early, putting up a run in the top of the first inning. Following a walk, junior Erica Orr advanced to second on a passed ball and then to third on a single by Kayla Dooms. Orr then came across to score on a passed ball during the next at bat.

Senior Mary Kate Bailey picked up an RBI in the third inning to score SBC's second run. With the bases load, Bailey drew a walk to plate classmate Amanda Terry.

Dooms and Terry each collected two hits in the game and junior Chelsea McKinney tallied a single as well. 

Game Two

Guilford pitching kept the Vixens in check during game two, limiting them to just one hit, a single by Dooms.

Today's game was the final for SBC softball seniors Mary Kate Bailey, Amanda Terry, Kayla Dooms, and Erika Rugh.
