Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Sweet Briar tennis (6-1, 1-0 ODAC) ended its spring break run in Hilton Head with a 9-0 victory over DII Albany State (11-1, 4-0 SIAC)
Playing the match according to DIII rules, the Vixens took the early 3-0 lead after sweeping doubles play. The pairing of de Souza/Wandling took down Copeland/Williams without conceding a single game.
Also earning convincing doubles victories were Alfaro/Andrade and Kotany/Patino who won their matches by scores of 8-1 and 8-2, respectively.

Ana Patino (Medellín, Colombia) won their matches, 6-2, 6-1.
Sophomore
Isabela Guilarte (Barquisimeto, Venezuela) again clinched the victory for Sweet Briar with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Carla Sorroche in the No.4 spot.
Two matches were won in third-set tiebreakers, with junior
Allison Wandling (Mechanicsville, Va.) defeating Asia Raulerson, 7-6 (7-2), 5-7, 1-0 (10-1) and fellow junior
Nikhita Simhambhatla (Hyderabad, Telangana, India) coming back to reign victorious over Bianca Leao, 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-1).
