Tennis Departs on Three-Game Road Trip

SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Sweet Briar tennis (10-2, 3-1) will embark on a three-game road trip this week, heading to Lynchburg, Southern Virginia and No. 29 Christopher Newport. The Vixens will face Lynchburg and Southern Virginia tomorrow, March 22, at noon and 5 p.m., respectively, before heading to Newport News, Va. on Sunday, March 27.
 
The team went 5-1 last week, earning three of their victories by 9-0 sweeps.
 
Junior Allison Wandling (Mechanicsville, Va.) went undefeated through her five singles matches, including a two-set victory against Averett in which she handed Paula Ryhsen her only loss to non-ranked team so far this season.
