Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Sweet Briar tennis (5-1 1-0 ODAC) earned another thrilling 9-0 victory in Hilton Head this afternoon as the team took down the Gettysburg Bullets (5-2 0-0 Centennial Conference).
The doubles pairing of Kotany/Patino kicked the match off with their third-straight victory, defeating Guistwite/Gowland, 8-0. In the No. 1 spot, de Souza/Wandling reigned victorious with an 8-2 victory over Brazyte/Rozenfeld. The team of Simhambhatla/Caro helped the Vixens sweep doubles play with an 8-3 victory of their own.

Ruth de Souza (Marilia, Brazil) who defeated Andrea Brazyte, 6-2, 6-2 clinched the victory for Sweet Briar.

Sofia Andrade (Latacunga, Ecuador) and first-year
Ana Patino (Medellín, Colombia) fought hard in their matches to win in third-set tiebreakers. Andrade won her match by scores of 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 1-0 (10-5) while Patino won hers 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8).

Isabela Guilarte (Barquisimeto, Venezuela) with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Tierney Cantwell in the No. 6 spot.
