SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar College softball team (7-9) will travel to both Ferrum (3-3, 0-0 ODAC) and Bridgewater (5-7, 0-0 ODAC) this week for doubleheaders on Wednesday, March 15 and Saturday, March 18.
Action against the Panthers will take place at 4 and 6 p.m. while Saturday's doubleheader against the Eagles is set for 1 and 3 p.m.
The Vixens are coming off a 7-1 week during spring break with victories over Lancaster Bible, Thiel, Delaware Valley, Clarks Summit, Blackburn, Fitchburg State and Penn State Fayette.
Over the week, Sweet Briar outscored their opponents 64-38.

- First-year Lauren Jamerson (Buckingham, Va.) currently ranks sixth in the nation in triples with three so far this season.
- Fellow first-year Kaylie Hudson (Lynchburg, Va.) leads the team with a .577 batting average.
