SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar College cross country team will head to Choctaw Trails in Clinton, Miss. on Saturday, Nov. 6th for the NCAA Division III South Regional Championship.
The women’s 6k race is set to start at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT.
The Vixens saw action in five meets so far this season, including a home 5k race on Sept. 14th and the Old Dominion Athletics Conference (ODAC) Championship on Nov. 2nd.
Throughout the season, seniors Alia Peets (Devonshire, Bermuda) and Angelyn Wiggins (Churchville, Md.) and junior Carolina Wilson (Hedgesville, W. Va.) have all put on record-setting performances.
At last year’s NCAA Regional Championship, the team has its best performance in program history with an 18th-place finish.
Wilson led the team with a program-high finish of 58th and a record-setting time of 24:33.94.
