SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar College IHSA team earned the title of Reserve High Point Team in today's senior day show at the Harriet Howell Rogers Riding Center.
 
Junior Marran Vansickle (Powhatan, Va.) nabbed her third-straight first-place finish after topping the intermediate fences class while also coming fifth in intermediate flat.
 
Also finishing first was senior Katelyn Jones (Richmond, Texas), junior Isabella Paul (Conyers, Ga.) and sophomore Audrey Flattich (Statesboro, Ga.) and Sarah Pastula (Rockford, Mich.) in intermediate fences, novice flat, open flat and limit fences, respectively.
 
Junior Katherine Atherton (Montpelier, Va.) came second in open fences while fourth-place finishes were captured by sophomores Ainsley John Darling (Virginia Beach, Va.) in introductory flat and Davis Shiflett (Louisa, Va.) in novice flat.
 
Rounding out the field for the Vixens were senior Sarah Southard (Culpeper, Va.) who placed fifth in intermediate flat and junior Emily Roberts (Goochland, Va.) who rode to her fifth-place finish in limit flat.
 
Highlights

• Darling will head to Regionals for the first time in her career.
• Flattich and Pastula earned additional top-five finishes in limit fences and limit flat, respectively.

 
What's Next
The Vixens will host Region 4 Finals on Feb. 24.
