SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar College golf team wrapped up the Bridgewater Invitational with a sixth-place finish after shooting a 348 in round two to bring its two-day total to 690 (+114).
Senior
Amani Narang (Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India) secured a second-place finish with her round two score of 75 bringing her total a tournament total of 146 (+2).
Sophomore
Isabella Peregrine (Liberty, Mo.) also finished in the top 20 with a total of 168 (+24) to finish in a tie for 16th.
Senior
Haley Holzworth (Scottsbluff, Neb.) and sophomore
Kailei Minter (Martinsville, Va.) both recorded a day two score of 96. Holzworth finished the tournament in 34th with a score of 187 (+43) while Minter was right behind her in a tie for 45th thanks to her tournament score of 189 (+45).
Sophomore
Kendel Wickline (Frederick, Md.) rounded out the field of competitors for Sweet Briar with a score of 104; bringing her total to 202 (+58).
Highlights
- Peregrine bested her round-one score by six strokes for a new career-low round of 81 and a new career-low 36-hole tournament score.
- Narang has now finished the first two tournaments of the season within the top five.

The Vixens will head to the Knights Invite, Oct. 7th – 8th.
