WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Sweet Briar College golf team bested over half the field this weekend as it placed fourth out of nine teams at The Ruckus at the Williamsburg National Golf Club.
The team shot a combined 690 (+114) after totaling a score of 336 (+48) in round one and 354 (+66) in round two.
Senior
Amani Narang (Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India) led the Vixens on the leaderboard with a fourth-place finish. Narang earned her second-lowest round of the season yesterday with a 74 (+2) and totaled a 78 (+6) to finish with a two-day score of 152 (+8)
Placing 17th was sophomore
Isabella Peregrine (Liberty, Mo.) who once again tied her career-low round on day one with an 81 (+9) before shooting a 93 (+21) to total a score of 174 (+30).
Senior
Haley Holzworth (Scottsbluff, Neb.) saw a 21st-place finish. The Nebraska native started the weekend off with a 90 (+18) before tying her career low round score of 89 (+17) today to bring her two-day total to 179 (+35).
In 25th was sophomore
Kailei Minter (Martinsville, Va.) while fellow sophomore
Kendel Wickline (Frederick, Md.) placed 36th. Minter totaled a score of 185 (+41) while Wickline left the course with a score of 205 (+61).

- Sweet Briar set the new program record for best single-round score in round one with 336.
- Narang's two-day scorecard included six birdies.
