HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Sweet Briar College outdoor track & field team wrapped up the second and final day of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships today.
The Vixens started the day off with action in the 4x100-meter relay. Senior
Alia Peets (Devonshire, Bermuda), first-year
Veronica Barney (Leesburg, Va.), senior
Molly Booth (Orono, Maine) and first-year
Electra McPherson (Madison Heights, Va.) combined for a 10th place finish and a time of 55.25.
In the 1500-meter run, sophomore
Mia Viccora (Fairfax, Va.) placed 22nd with a personal-best time of 6:00.91.
McPherson also saw action in the 200-meter dash where she crossed the finish line at the 29.06 mark and placed 20th.
Action at the Championships concluded with the 4x400-meter relay. Peets, Booth, junior
Carolina Wilson (Hedgesville, W. Va.) and Viccora led the team to a 10th-place finish thanks to a combined time of 4:58.26.
