WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. – The Sweet Briar College golf team finished in a tie for eighth place out of 11 total teams at The Greenbrier Classic, hosted by Southern Virginia at The Greenbrier.
The Vixens shot a combined 349 (+61) on day one before going on to register a 366 (+78) today.
Senior
Amani Narang (Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India) led Sweet Briar on the leaderboard with a 17th-place finish. The 135th nationally-ranked golfer put up a score of 85 (+13) in round two.
Sophomores
Isabella Peregrine (Liberty, Mo.) and
Kailei Minter (Martinsville, Va.) and senior
Haley Holzworth (Scottsbluff, Neb.) finished T32nd and 34th, respectively.
Both Peregrine and Minter matched round two scores of 93 (+21) while Holzworth shot a 95 (+23).
Sophomore
Kendel Wickline (Frederick, Md.) totaled a 103 (+31) today while senior
Hannah Norvell rounded out the field with her score of 118 (+46) on day two of action.
Highlights
- Narang notched two birdies today.
- Minter and Wickline both earned one birdie on holes 12 (Par 3) and 17 (Par 4).

The Vixens will head to the Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) Intercollegiate, April 14th – 15th, in Lexington, Va.
