FOREST, Va. – The Sweet Briar College golf team finished fourth at the 7th Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) Women's Intercollegiate Championship, contested at London Downs Golf Club.
Junior
Isabella Peregrine (Liberty, Mo.) placed 15th following two days of action with a score of 181 (+37). Peregrine totaled a 93 in round one before dropping five strokes for an 88 in round two.
Fellow junior
Kailei Minter (Martinsville, Va.) was not far behind in 17th with a score of 182 (+37). Minter was in the 80s with a score of 89 yesterday before shooting a 93 today.
Sitting just outside the top-20 was sophomore
Reiyn Hart (Bridgton, Maine), who totaled a 209 (+65). Hart's score yesterday was a 102, and she left the course today with a 107.
Junior
Kendel Wickline (Frederick, Md.) bested her nroud one score of 110 by seven strokes with a 103 in round two to leave the course with a 213 (+69).
Rounding out the field for the Vixens was sophomore
Tori Rosen (Collegeville, Pa.), whose round one score of 127 and round two score of 136 brought her two-day total to 263 (+119).
Highlights
- Minter's second round score of 89 marks the third-lowest single round score of her career.
- Rosen's first-round score of 127 is the second-lowest career round for her.
- Hart totaled the second and third-lowest rounds of her career.

The Vixens will take on the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships, April 19th – 21st, at the Williamsburg National Golf Club in Williamsburg, Va.
