WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. – The Sweet Briar College golf team placed ninth at this year's Greenbrier Invitational, contested at The Greenbrier.
Sweet Briar competed at the invitational, April 6th – 7th, and finished with an 819 (+243) total with scores of 407 in round one and 412 in round two.
The Vixens were led by junior
Isabella Peregrine (Liberty, Mo.), who finished in a tie for 28th overall with a two-day score of 174 (+30). Peregrine shot an 87 on both days.
Next on the leaderboard was junior Kallei Minter (Martinsville, Va.), who finished 41st overall with a two-day score of 184 (+40). Round one saw Minter leave the course with a 90, while she shot a 94 in round two.
Fellow junior
Kendel Wickline (Frederick, Md.) was steady through the two days of action with a 109 on day one and a 110 on day two to bring her total to 219 (+75).
Sophomore
Reiyn Hart (Bridgton, Maine) rounded out the field for Sweet Briar, totaling 121 on both days for a final score of 242 (+98).
Highlights
- Hart bested her previous 36-hole tournament low by one stroke.

The Vixens will compete at the VSGA Intercollegiate, April 13th – 14th, at the London Downs Golf Club in Forest, Va.
