SWEET BRIAR, Va. - Sweet Briar field hockey has released its 2026 schedule, packed from September through October, featuring a strong mix of home and away matchups.
The season begins on Sept. 1st at Wilson, followed by another road trip to Ohio for matchups with Oberlin on Sept. 5th and Wooster on Sept. 6th. The Vixens will then host DII Barton on Sept. 11th.
Sweet Briar continues the month with home contests against Meredith on Sept. 17th and Goucher on Sept. 19th. Action in New Jersey will take place at William Paterson on Sept. 25th and at FDU-Florham on Sept. 26th.
October opens with Bridgewater coming to campus on Oct. 3rd, kicking off a busy midseason run.
Sweet Briar will then head to Lynchburg on Oct. 7th, before hosting Randolph-Macon on Oct. 10th. Action at Washington and Lee will take place on Oct. 14th, and at Shenandoah on Oct. 17th. The Vixens will then host EMU on Oct. 21st, and head to Batten on Oct. 23rd, before wrapping up the month against Roanoke on Oct. 28th.
The regular season will conclude at Meredith on Oct. 31st.
