RUSTBURG, Va. – The Sweet Briar IHSA team was named High Point Team for the second-straight week after accumulating 41 points at Liberty today.
Senior
Abby Bell (Stafford, Va.) became the third rider to qualify for regionals this season after winning the novice flat class.
Additionally, first-year
Marran Vansickle (Powhatan, Va.) was named High Point Rider thanks to a first place finish in limit fences and a second place finish in limit flat.
Four more Vixens earned first place finishes with first-year
Paige Kennedy, senior
Chloe Kerschl (Lexington, Va.), sophomore
Emmy Longest (Hanover, Va.) and junior
Anne Rucker (Midlothian, Va.) all nabbing the top spot in the limit flat, open fences, open flat and intro classes, respectively.
Five more members of the team earned top-5 finishes, bring the total number of top-5 finishes for Sweet Briar at today's show to 13.

- Bell will join senior Madeline Rucker (Midlothian, Va.) and Sita Moses (Dublin, N.H.) at regionals.
