SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar College outdoor track & field team has dropped its 2026 schedule, consisting of seven meets, including the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The Vixens begin competition at the Dr. Jack Tom's Invitational from March 27th –28th in Lynchburg, Va., marking their first outdoor meet of the year. From there, they head south for the VertKlasse Invitational, set for April 2nd –3rd in High Point, N.C., giving the team an early-season test against strong regional competition
After returning from North Carolina, Sweet Briar travels to Harrisonburg, Va., for back-to-back days of competition at the EMU Heritage Invitational on April 9th –10th. The squad then visits Lynchburg again for the WildCat Invitational on April 18th, their final regular-season tune-up before the conference championships.
Championships begin April 24th –25th at the ODAC Outdoor Championships, hosted in Harrisonburg, where the Vixens will chase conference honors.
Once the conference meet wraps up, Sweet Briar closes its regular outdoor slate under the lights with the Hill City Twilight on May 1st in Lynchburg, followed by the Liberty Twilight Qualifier on May 6th, also in Lynchburg, as athletes look to post late qualifying marks and season-best performances.
