Tennis Drops Spring Schedule

SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar College tennis team has dropped its spring 2026 schedule consisting 14 matches with five taking place at the Van Der Meer Tennis Center.

The Vixens will open their 2026 spring slate on February 25th with a 3:30 p.m. road matchup at Lynchburg.

The Vixens then head to Cocoa Beach, Fla., for four straight neutral-site contests, beginning on March 9th at 11 a.m. against Saint Mary's. On the 11th, Sweet Briar faces Kenyon at 11 a.m. on the Florida courts. Spring break action continues on March 12th with a 11 a.m. meeting with St. Catherine before the team returns to Virginia.

Conference play resumes on March 19th at 4 p.m. when the Vixens travel to Roanoke to take on Hollins. A tilt at Guilford follows on March 21st. Sweet Briar begins a key home stretch at the Dennis Van Der Meer Tennis Center on March 22nd, welcoming Shenandoah for a 1 p.m. first serve.

Home action continues on March 24th at 4 p.m. when Washington and Lee visits Sweet Briar. The Vixens then travel to Washington, D.C., on March 28th to square off against Trinity Washington at 2 p.m. Sweet Briar returns home on April 8th for another ODAC contest against Roanoke.

The final road trip of the regular season sends the Vixens to Virginia Beach to play Virginia Wesleyan on April 11th at 2 p.m. Sweet Briar closes the campaign with two home Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) clashes at the Van Der Meer Tennis Center, first hosting Randolph on April 20th at 4 p.m. and then Randolph-Macon on April 22nd at 2 p.m.
