SWEET BRIAR, Va. - Sweet Briar College is excited to unveil the 2025 field hockey schedule for the Vixens with a slate of 14 games, seven home and seven away.
The upcoming season opens on August 29th as Sweet Briar hosts Wilson at Thayer Field with a 2:00 p.m. start. The home action continues on September 6th against Oberlin at 1:00 p.m., before the team hits the road for a matchup with Meredith in Raleigh, N.C., on September 10th.
The Vixens are back at home on September 13th to take on Washington & Jefferson. The road swing with then resume September 19th when the team travels to Baltimore, Md., to face Goucher, followed by a trip to Lancaster Bible on September 20th.
Conference play begins October 4th with Shenandoah visiting Thayer Field. The Vixens then have a pair of away Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contests, first against Randolph-Macon on October 11th in Ashland, Va. and then at Roanoke in Salem, Va. on October 15th.
October 18th sees Sweet Briar welcome Virginia Wesleyan to Thayer Field. The Vixens then host Washington and Lee on October 21st at 7:00 p.m. before making a trip to Harrisonburg, Va., to play EMU on October 25th. The final road game takes place October 28th at Bridgewater.
The regular season concludes on November 1st with a home contest against Meredith.
