SWEET BRIAR, Va. - Sweet Briar volleyball's 2026 schedule is here, and the Vixens are set for a busy fall with a mix of home, away, and neutral-site matches. The slate opens in early September and runs through a packed November finish.
The season gets underway on September 4th with matches against Franklin and Wilmington in Wilmington, Ohio. Sweet Briar then continues action at Wilmington College with a match against Pitt-Greensburg on September 5th. The Vixens head to St. Mary's (Md.) on September 8th and welcome Saint Elizabeth and Gallaudet on September 12th for tri-match action.
Home action continues on September 15th against Averett, followed by matchups at Warren Wilson on September 18th and at JWU-Charlotte on September 19th. The Vixens then face Batten on the road on September 23rd before returning to neutral competition against Methodist on September 26th at Greensboro, before facing the hosts later that day. Sweet Briar closes September with a home date against Hollins on September 29th.
October brings another strong run of conference and regional competition, beginning with Randolph-Macon on October 6th. The Vixens then head to Bridgewater on October 9th, take on Washington and Lee on October 10th, and meet Mary Washington later that day to wrap up W&L Tri-Match action. The middle of the month features contests at Randolph on October 13th, versus Guilford on October 17th, at Roanoke on October 21st, at EMU on October 23rd, at Shenandoah on October 24th, and at Lynchburg on October 28th.
Sweet Briar returns home for scheduled contests against Warren Wilson on October 30th, and then opens November with a rematch against JWU-Charlotte on November 3rd. The final home stretch includes tri-match action at Shenandoah on November 7th, followed by the season finale against Regent.
